Travel Authorization Management
In web2expense TE (w2eTE) users can create pre-travel authorization requests to enter their anticipated travel expenses for an upcoming business trip.
An employee prepares the Travel Authorization Request (TAR) and adds anticipated expenses for the planned trip. With integrated reporting, organizations can track future expenses before they incur and adjust their project and spending budgets accordingly.
The TAR documents are integrated into the w2eTE workflow engine. Based on the workflow settings the system submits the TAR document to the approving manager(s), executive and accounts payable. The system automatically checks the manager's approval limits; if the amount to be approved is higher than the limit allowed, the system automatically routes the TAR document to the next approver or to the executive. Workflow approvers are notified via email about the submission of a TAR by an employee.
Finally, approvers can login into the system to approve or reject the TAR. Managers are allowed to send the TAR document back to the employee for changes or corrections. Upon accounting approval, the system sends a notification email to the employee to finalize their travel plans.
